Prenatal care

We provide regular prenatal visits throughout your pregnancy. These visits include health assessments, emotional support, and space to ask questions. You’ll have time to build a relationship, talk through your goals, and plan for your birth experience.

Hospital birth support

We attend births at Vernon Jubilee Hospital. When the time comes, one of our midwives will be there to support you through labor and delivery. We work closely with hospital staff to ensure safe, continuous care while respecting your birth preferences.

Postpartum care

Midwifery care continues for about six weeks after birth. This includes scheduled check-ins at home, in clinic, or in hospital depending on your needs. Postpartum visits include physical recovery support, infant health monitoring, feeding guidance, and emotional wellness check-ins.

Postpartum care is also available to families who gave birth with a doctor or another provider. You do not need to have received prenatal care from Vernon Midwifery to access postpartum support.

Lactation support

Feeding your baby can be joyful, and can also bc challenging. We offer one-on-one support with breastfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, and formula feeding. We can help with latch issues, supply concerns, and creating a feeding plan that works for your family.
